The Trick

Reproducing from Akash’s Blog.
——————————————————————————————-
it so easily happens that some people bring out the worst in us. they
are not very nice but we also stoop down to their level and act almost
like them. therefore the trick is to find a way not to stoop but rise
and tackle them on your own terms. you never know but you might get a
nicer reaction from them. and that is how we grow older, wiser.
it is not you who i think of when i write this but myself and a
particular situation when I could have made that choice, quite recently.
I can only guess but it would have turned out to be much better for two people.
the only difficulty is in realizing that you are in a position to make
that choice and then be able to make it. if someone else can help you
see the way, they become your north star. god bless them
i am so sorry harry will have to learn that on his own now. and how
did he come in to the picture, well i was at my friends place and
there was this other friend who said something about the choices our
elders make and the trust they do or don’t place in the new generation
and which basically leads to suffering and even worse.
I still believe that anyone who teaches you how to bring out the best
in others and how to place faith and trust in others is the single
good thing that can happen to you.
i am still looking for that someone, still looking for my albus…
